An Easy Oven For Baking Enamel Onto Metal Parts

A quick and easy Oven for baking enamel paints on metal parts can be made from a wooden box and a reflecting type electric heater, which is the same type of heater many people use in their bathrooms. The box should be well made with no large holes, and should have one side left open; that is the DOWN side. On any of the other sides except the UP or TOP side, cut a hole so that the electric heater fits snugly, and can project its heat inside the box. Wood is a good insulater, and no other insulation is necessary. Use low steady heat for lengthy periods of time for best results on small runs. Hang or rack the parts inside and practice with test pieces first. Be very careful to avoid fires.
